The last pair of sneakers our 21 month old had were very good, but had laces and velcro, he had fun taking those off all the time. These have 'fake' laces and good strong velcro, he hasn't succeeded yet in yanking them off! They are sturdy shoes, I believe true to size, flexible for playing but dressy and well made for Sundays when he dresses up a bit.
Made of black glazed nylon. Lace-up sneaker in opaque calfskin and black suede with yellow Bag Bugs eye inlay.

The North Face. He can put them on himself, and not worry about tying. The only drawback is he gets the wrong feet most of the time! But they almost look like they could be for either foot so no damage there.
They are cute with their denim exterior and the appearance of laces. They provide ankle support and the orange stripes are a nice contrast. The bottom gives good traction for a little person who runs, never walks anywhere. Highly recommended for any toddler, especially a boy. Absolutely the best shoe brand I have purchased for my special-needs grandson!
This design is one of our faves. We also love that they are very lightweight. It's difficult to find no-tie shoes in youth sizes from 1 and up , so we are grateful for See Kai Run!
